Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say so. I bought this camera the morning of an event at my daughter's school I wanted to record since that day she had both the school event and a dance recital. After charging it up to 100% I recorded the school event which all in all took about 56 minutes of video. Then I packed it away and didn't pull it out again until the recital later that afternoon. The recital lasted about 1.5 hours and I recorded it in its entirety. I do not recall what the remaining battery percentage was after all of that but I can say that I hadn't gotten any low battery warnings or anything. The picture quality is stunning as is the audio. I had what was considered the equivalent Canon version and honestly, I was disappointed. Sony made a real winner here.
