“I want to buy a sony video camera microphone. What sony mics are compatable with this camera? Also, can I plug in an external light for it and what"s the biggest SD card I can put in?”

I bought the Sony ECMB1M Microphone for the ax53. Only downside is you to use it in Analog mode instead of Digital. All other features of the Mic can be used. No external light can plug into it. Lastly, you can use up to a 256GB SD card.

Any Sony mike that plugs into the hot shoe connector on top of the camera. Also you can use any mike with a 1/8 In phone jack as there is a connection for that. I used 128 gib sd card. I think you can use a larger one. Check the manual.
