“is the ax53 worth it to buy over the ax33 for an extra $100? that is, did they adeqqualtey improve the ax33 to justify its purchase?”

• The reason I chose the 53 is the better auto-focus, and the non- digital lock on a subject focus ( which I love with my three year old grand- daughter) and longer zoom by 10x

• The 53 also has an electronic viewfinder which really helps if recording outdoors like I do all the time at baseball games, or track meets.

• It was definitely worth it to me. Every little extra it added, I felt was worth getting it now, instead of wondering about it later in a what if moment.
