“Does it come with a battery charger?”

• The camcorder has a built in charger. With the battery in it's normal position, you may video, or you may charge the battery. Take the AC adapter that comes with every camcorder and attach the POWER Cord to it. The end of the power cord is a normal plug that may now be inserted in any outlet for power. The other end of the AC Adapter has a permanently attached cord with a unique DC-IN plug. Put the DC-IN cord into the slot that is below the START/STOP button on the camcorder. An orange light will appear just above the START/STOP button indicating the battery is being charged. When fully charged, the orange light will turn off. I purchased an extra battery and an external charger so that I could be using the camcorder and simultaneously be charging my 2nd battery.

• The camcorder comes with an adapter that plugs into 120VAC on one end and the opposite end plugs into the camcorder. The battery has to be in place in the camcorder in order to be charged. A separate charger is available. It does not come with the package.
