• Unfortunately there is no battery, you need to plug in.

• Hi NG1153, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, this is a non-battery-operated audio system. You will have to plug it into an outlet all the time. I would recommend checking out the GTK-XB60/XB90 for a home audio system that can be used on a battery. Hope this helps! -Sam
