“Hi there I've hooked my speaker up to my record player via cable but it doesn't get very loud and it's on full volume. Is this normal? My record player has a built in speaker that I can't turn off, could this be the issue? Cheers Jase”

Hi Jase, The issue might be the record player prioritizing the sound of the built-in speakers connected to it. Check the connection of the optional equipment, if any or maybe the bit rate used when encoding the audio file was low. Regards, David
