Yes, you can use a microphone. There’s an audio input on the back where you can plug in the microphone. I’m not sure what size it is though but you can get an adaptor if it doesn’t fit. It is portable. I carry it with one hand. I use the speaker for work and carry it everyday. You can use 2 hands to carry it and it’s not that heavy.
