Hi Ozzie, Thank you for reaching out to us. We're sorry to hear if the sound cuts in and out or produce static sound on your HTA7000 soundbar. This is definitely not the experience we want you to have with our products. Allow us to help troubleshoot the issue and turn this to a better experience. Please try some solutions below if the sound skips or has noise: If there is a device nearby that generates electromagnetic waves, such as a wireless LAN or a microwave oven in use, set the optional speaker and the speaker system apart from it. If there is an obstacle between the optional speaker and the speaker system, move or remove it. Set the optional speaker and the speaker system in a position as close as possible. Change the [Setup] - [Advanced Settings] - [Speaker Settings] - [Wireless Speaker Settings] - [RF Channel] setting to [Off], and then change to [On] again. Switch the network connection of the TV or Blu-ray Disc player from wireless to wired. Set [Setup] - [Advanced Settings] - [Speaker Settings] - [Wireless Speaker Settings] - [Wireless Playback Quality] to [Connection].
