Hi Al, Thank you for reaching out to us. We're sorry to hear the trouble that you are experiencing with your HTA7000 soundbar when connected to your A90K TV. Allow us to help troubleshoot the problem. If the volume level shows a different value for the TV and the Soundbar: There is a difference in the way the volume value of the Soundbar and the connected TV is displayed, and the difference in the values can be seen when: You turn on the BRAVIA Sync/Control for HDMI setting. You switch the Speaker Output setting of the TV from TV speakers to Audio System. For example, because the TV is designed to display the volume in a range from 0 to 100db, and the Soundbar displays the volume in a range from 0 to 50db, when the TV shows 40 the Soundbar will show 20. This is normal and not a malfunction. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot if the sound or volume is low on your HT-A7000 soundbar: Increase the volume of the Soundbar using the remote control. Increase the volume of the output device, such as a TV or audio device. Make sure that the soundbar is not muted and connected properly on your TV. You may also need to adjust the audio output settings on your TV to HDMI ARC/eARC. Try calibrating the soundbar using the sound field optimization feature. This will ensure that the sound is properly balanced for your room. Turn off the Night Mode setting. Ensure that the software of your soundbar is updated as it includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements. If the speaker system still does not operate properly, reset the speaker system. May we contact you to help?
