“In the start up guide, it says to disconnect a satellite box from the TV and connect it to the HDMI IN jack on the bar speaker to reproduce sound such as Dolby True HD, DTS-HD. So if you don’t do that connection, the Immersive AE doesn’t do its thing?”

Hi Winjack, thank you for your question. The Immersive Audio Enhancement function is available only when the [AUDIO] - [EFFECT] setting is set to [SOUND MODE ON].
