The HT-S400 system is designed to work as a complete unit, with the subwoofer connecting wirelessly to the soundbar. It does not support a direct connection to the TV without the soundbar. To enjoy optimal audio performance, we recommend connecting the soundbar to your TV using either an HDMI cable (preferably to the HDMI ARC port) or an optical digital cable.
