“I had a JBL SB with a Roku connected via HDMI to the SB and I could control the SB volume directly from my Roku remote (TV speakers were automatically muted). Can’t figure out how to do it with this SB, any ideas? It’s the same TV, Toshiba with HDMI ARC.”

There is a specific connection on the back of the TV that allows you to do it. The TV and SB both have directions how to do it. They are not very clear though.
