It should. I've done similar with Chromecast Ultra and a Playstation 4.

I basically have the same set up and have mine hooked up as you described with no issues. I'm really impressed by the sound quality of this sound bar. Adding the rear speakers added a whole new experience. I've would highly recommend adding those to your system.
