“my radio works just fine but when I go to dim the brightness it starts humming the lower I go the louder it gets what can I do or is there something wrong with the radio?”

You have the one year manufacturers warranty, you can call the customer service number and tell them you have a defective car stereo they should be able to give you a new one or send a refund. But you would have to call. Other than that if you haven't had it for a long time take it back to the store you bought it from and say it's defective they should be able to help.
