- Answer Yes, unfortunately you do have to own a PS5 to use the portal. It isn’t a independent console but more of a handheld “portal” to your PS5

- Answer Unless she has a different ps account she won’t be able to. Your portal is only streaming your play station . In fact when you turn your portal on it will turn on your ps5 and your tv and everything you play will be mirrored in the TV
