• The Live View Remotes, v.1 & v.2, are only capable of working with Sony's Action Cam line and some camcorders. To have this type of function, you'll need to install the PlayMemories Mobile app to your smartphone and use that as your remote.

• No, this will not work with any of the cameras. It will work with some camcorders.

• Hi Mickey, the RMLVR1 remote is compatible with the Sony Action Cam series such as the HDRAS100V. As for the A580, you can use the RMT-DSLR2 remote commander with it. Thanks_Mitch
