• You won’t need a DAC, but these are pretty expensive for iPod usage

• Phones will run it but these really need an amplifier to really sound powerful.

• It will plug dorectly into any phone like device. The cans are 70mm low impedence drivers, so your phone, taet, laptop, etc will drive them without an amp. I would recomment a good dac though to bring out their personality though. A small amp wouldnt hurt but dont fet anything to powerful so you dont wither go deaf or blow the headphones drjvers out
