Honestly you really want headphones with a larger driver for clarity when looking at how the bass drum will sound. Over the ear headphones are always going to give you a better sound when it comes to stuff like kick drums. That being said, these are great for the price. Bass is warm and natural.

It has better bass than the ones that come with Apple products. I don’t use them I use this. I love high bass don’t care for treble. So in short yes.

Good bass if you can run it through something that can adjust bass easily like a rooted Android phone with an audio fx or, in your case, it's a music theater. What are you listening the 808's from?
