“When it says "Up to 5.5fps" what exactly does that mean? How many fps is a typical photo taken with this camera? If you want to capture good action shots is the NEX-5 better at "up to 10fps"?”

For the NEX C3, Continuous shooting will take between 5 and 6 frames per second depending on Lighting conditions and focus settings, giving you an average of 5.5 fps If you are looking for 10 Frames per second the NEX-5N will take Up to 10 fps (frames per second) For continuous shooting up to approximately 10 JPEGs, approximately 6 RAW or approximately 4 RAW+JPEG. The NEX-7 is also 10FPS and brings 3D into the equation.
