The NW-A306 has Android 12 OS with Google Play Store, you will be able to access the Audible app in the play store. You can also transfer audiobook files to the Walkman and play them as regular music files. Ensure that the audiobook files are in a compatible audio format (such as MP3 or AAC) and transfer them to the Walkman player using the appropriate method, like connecting it to a computer via USB. There are no built-in speaker on this device, so consider using wired or wireless headphones or speakers to listen to the content. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes! One absolutely could. The NW-A306 works in the same way any Android based phone or tablet would. So one would first download/install the appropriate app of their choice at the Play Store then use app to their desire. For example, when it comes to audiobooks I use Audible and in the same way that I do on my phone. Also keep in mind the Sony does not have a speaker. So any sounds would have to come out of an 3.5mm attached headphone/speaker or Bluetooth device.
