• Volume control is now on the face of the unit not on the side as the vast majority of the users tend to put it in there pocket and the volume control would rub up or down on the material of there clothing and do a pocket adjust.

• The up and down arrow on the 5 way button in the middle serves as the volume controller during playback or FM reception (except when displaying a list screen, such as the song list screen or option menu, etc., or the detailed information screen)
