- Answer Not really, but check out PlayStation NOW, a subscription service that will let you play a lot of PS3 games using streaming. I don't think it covers every game out there and if your PS3 library has a lot titles you still want to play, keep it around for legacy.

- Answer It was a holiday special. However I do know that they run that every year. This years (2016 Christmas) was extended. I do know that if you visit the PlayStation website you can see first hand if there are sales running and whom is participating in the sale.
