I preordered it and I had to pay in full to complete the order. The only other option I saw was to apply for the Best Buy credit card.

Most of the guys are saying you have to pay in full but they took the money out of my account to authorize card then 30 minutes later put my money back and it says they’ll charge my card when it’s released.

The payment plan is the store credit card. So no down-payment and it charges once a month. Likely the day you buy it or it is released.

Your card will be charged in the full preorder amount a couple of days before the ship date.

No down payment is needed. As the PS5 ships from Sony the money will be taken out.

yes they do a authorization to make sure your bank is legit and they put a hold on the funds. The funds are still in your bank but you won't be able to use them until the hold drops off in 3 to 5 business days. If you use pay pal they take the whole payment upfront not when the console releases
