Nope this isn't a fad. This technology is already used by NASA and a number of other agencies for training. True, this is the beginning of mass marketing and development of the technology...but I can tell you that while HTC and Oculus are considered cutting edge, this particular little item absolutely holds it's own and then some. I'm not a console gamer, I prefer PC, BUT VR is not like watching something, it is experiencing something, and that can't be replicated anywhere. The opportunities for content development are endless with this. BTW, the graphics are quite good. It's worth trying one somewhere.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know, but I'm really enjoying it. You truly feel like you've been transported to another world. I went in expecting to be disappointed, and felt the need to buy it. So far, it's not gotten old. There is certainly room for improvement and I look forward to future iterations. It does the trick for me, right now, though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is the real deal. Cutting edge graphics and realistic experience if you allow yourself to immerse in the VR environment.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, VR is the future of videogames. Try the oculus rift demo at your closest BestBuy to understand its value https://live.oculus.com/bestbuy/search use this link to find the nearest demo
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on how it's used, and if it's used to the fullest potentional. Side note, graphics aren't everything, and the wii was a perfectly fine console... in my humble opinion, atleast.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The graphics are definitely worse than what you would see on your TV screen, but this is different. VR isn't a new type of controller to play games with, it's a new format to experience media with. Whether games, movies, or any other media, VR puts you inside of it and gives you the ability to feel immersed in it. Sony is however famous for ditching any product that doesn't sell huge numbers immediately.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this will not be just a fad since many other companies are heavily investing in VR. HTC, Oculus, Samsung and others are putting serious support into VR.
