• I’m using regular batteries, but I don’t see why you couldn’t use rechargeables. You’d have to have a battery recharger though.

• It uses two AA batteries which can be regular or rechargeable.

• Regular batteries. You can use rechargeable batteries but you can't plug the radio in to charge them
