A:AnswerThe Beatz are overrated if you ask me. I have never been a fan of them bc I feel they are way overpriced. Bose on the other hand is the pinnacle when it comes to audio if you ask me. They have the most clear sound of any brand I have found. They are expensive to be sure but they have the insane quality that makes the price justified. This speaker to me is not quite as good as the pill but it sounds really good for the price point and it is better than the similarly sized speakers from other brands.
A:AnswerDepending on the size of your pool area, I think you'll want something a lot bigger than this. I think it could work for background music, but I don't think it will be loud enough for anything more than that.

A:AnswerThe Sony SRS-XB2(3) speakers have the ability to be "paired" together with each other (2 speakers required) utilizing the built-in "Speaker Add Function" that allows 2 of these speakers to communicate with each other using a discreet Bluetooth signal generated by the speaker itself. The speakers can then be set to separate a stereo signal into right and left channels for "True" stereo sound. (NOTE: This only works when you have a device (tablet, smart phone, Bluetooth enabled MP3 player) that is sending the initial speaker a Bluetooth signal that is in stereo to begin with). ... The SRSX2 is just a "stand-alone" portable, battery-powered Bluetooth speaker that cannot be paired with any other speakers. It cannot supply a truly separated right and left channel stereo sound experience, even though it is playing two channels of stereo sound out of two separate speakers, these speakers are still contained within one container/case, thus the right and left channel stereo sound separation is permanently "muddled" within the speakers case before it ever reaches your ears.
