• not that i know of. it only takes one AA battery, but it gives you many hours of use with that.

• I'm sure it does to run the clock and keep the preset station memory, but I don't think its significant. At least I've never noticed.

• There is a clock, so yes it will., though it will take an exceptionally long period as the required power for the clock is minimal.
