A loud source, i.e. a PA system or auditorium PA might generae enough volume. It is possible to turn up the volume on playback. I have not tried connecting toa computer but that might be better. I may do some experiments .
A:AnswerYes, this recorder works great! I need to use it for my job on a daily basis. I place the phone call on speaker and use my recorder to record the conversation, after letting the other person know they are being recorded. Recording quality is excellent.
