• I never tried it but as playback I imagine you certainly can. Well, just tried and no, playback is just one way. Forward and back controls takes you to the next or previous recordings.

• Yes you can rewind a little or a lot you can also set an AB location so that it would constantly replay from a specific point and end at another point and continue to replay that section
