• You can copy/move files to/from the internal memory when the USB is plugged into your computer. You can move/copy files between folders within the internal memory without using a computer. If you record to the optional micro-SD card you can remove the card from the device, plug it into your computer (will probably need a micro-SD to SD adapter), and do whatever you want.

• tried copy and dragging files from the recorder to my mac and it worked perfect without any problems. It automatically converts it to MP3 which is the settings I have on my recorder.

• No, you have to use a computer for that. But it does have the USB to transfer files on the computer.
