“Why not add the ability to connect to a receiver? Makes no sense to produce an active subwoofer with reduced connection capability. I'd love to add this bad boi to our Sony home theater but instead have to "settle" with the lower model 10 inch subwoofer.”

• The 10 inch sub produces a much better result than the wireless sub.

For a receiver, we recommend connecting a wired subwoofer. We suggest checking out the Sony SACS9 model instead. Regards, Carl
