“Is the bluetooth always on when the unit is on? Is it always looking to connect? I would like to NOT have it in search mode as I am electrosensitive to bluetooth radiation. Thank you”

No this speaker does not keep looking to pair with devices. Although if you already have your bluetooth on and it is set as a recognized device the speaker will automatically connect.
