“I have SRS-XB3. That speaker cuts the maximum volume in half when the battery level reaches below 50% (which is super annoying) I would rather it play at 100% volume until the battery dies even if it means it wont last as long. Does this speaker do that?”

• @Zach, Good news! No , it does not. The SRSXB12 will play at full volume until the battery runs out. -Sam

• Yes even this speaker will reduce volume to increase playback time during low battery.
