Will it work with Alexa or Google? null

No, I don't think so as the paper guide enclosed states that the Sony speaker will "party", (connect), with other Sony bluetooth speakers but only if they are in the same SRS-XB23, 24 etc. family. This speaker will not connect to other SONY speakers which are not in the XB23, 24 etc. family. I believe there are 3 other such speakers it will connect to plus another speaker exactly like itself.

Hi Charlie, Thanks for your interest in the SRS-XB23. Voice command operations are not available solely on the speaker. To enjoy Voice Assistant functions such as Google Assistant or Alexa, the SRS-XB23 must be connected to a mobile device or Alexa enabled devices. Regards, Jess
