Q: QuestionI am.only gettimg 6 hours of music out of this speaker ive yurned off the lights etc that may drain it quicker and on a full charge its playing at a diminished volume because it needs charged. I only bought this because of rhe bosted 24 hour bttery life

• A:Answer I'm thinking your laptop is wireless. Goto your Settings. In there you should see Devices or something similar to that. That icon is where the Bluetooth, printers, mouse etc. will be. Open the icon and you should be able to add your bluetooth speaker.

• A:Answer They are very close in size. The 30 has a more square back where the 31 is a little more rounded. It should fit being the the 31 has a rounded back.

Q: QuestionDoes the SONY SRS-XB31 model play STEREO, or will I need TWO connected units to get both channels?

• A:Answer I have 2 of these, and they both play stereo. If you have more than one, you can use one as the left channel, and one as the right, and have more separation between channels, but on their own they will play stereo, with the left channel coming from the left side and right channel coming from the right side.

• A:Answer Press and hold the BATT (battery) button/ LIGHT button inside the cap on the rear side of the speaker for about 3 seconds until the lighting function turns off/on. By pressing and holding the button for about 3 seconds again, the lighting function turns on/off again.

Q: QuestionDoes anyone else have an issue with this speaker powering off itself after after 10 seconds if it's not connected to the Sony music app? I I returned one, thinking it was defective because it wouldn't stay on past 10 seconds. Auto shutoff is 15 minutes?

• A:Answer Yes you can play music while charging. I LOVE my Sony XB40, I got the the XB30 for a friend The XB31 & 41 are newest models. I charge mine while playing music all the time. The sound on this little speaker is impressive! It fills your house full of music, and yard for bbqs. Some even ask to turn the volume down since it has nice loud capability. HIghly recommend this speaker!

Q: QuestionHow does I close the battery saving function. Every time when it reach 70% I think, then it decrease the volume automatically, which is really annoying. And it does not matter if you increase or decrease the volume manually once it happen. It won't help
