That's irrelevant if it is in your carry on baggage. I haul 25 pounds of multiple lithium ion batteries for tools regularly. You just can't put it in your checked baggage. It is a 2700 MAH (milliamp hours) battery and the limit in checked baggage is 100 WH (watt hours) and 2700 MAH converts to 324 WH (watt hours). That being said, you could have 10 of these packed in your carry on bag.
