It charges with a USB cable. The USB that fits my Galaxy A21 works. Hope that helps.

For charging, if you don’t have one, you will need to purchase a USB AC adaptor (commercially available) that has the ability to output in 1.5 A and up if you prefer to charge the unit to an AC outlet. You can also charge the speaker's built-in battery by connecting the supplied USB cable connected with the speaker to a computer that comes equipped with a USB charging port as well. Notes: • The XB33 doesn't come with an AC adapter for an AC outlet. You may already have one that will work, as most cell phones/mobile devices come with them. We do not include them as a way to reduce waste. • The charging time completes in about 5 hours (time that is required to charge the empty built-in battery to its full capacity when the speaker turns off) when using the recommended USB AC adaptor (commercially available, not supplied) that is capable of delivering an output current of 1.5 A. • The charging time may vary depending on the ambient temperature or the usage of the speaker. • As long as the speaker is connected to an AC outlet by a USB AC adaptor (commercially available, not supplied) or to a computer that comes equipped with a USB charging port, the speaker's built-in battery is capable of charging itself even while music playback from the speaker is in progress. However, it may take a long time before charging completes depending on the usage of the speaker. It is recommended that you turn off the speaker before battery charging.
