I have switched to it and used it after first answering the call on my phone, turning on bluetooth on my phone and then powering up the speaker. Just be aware that there is a few seconds of missed audio during the switch.

You can answer a phone call by simply pressing the play/call button of the speaker and talk to it using its built-in microphone. Please note: This function will only work with BLUETOOTH mobile phone that supports the BLUETOOTH profile HFP (Hands-free Profile) or HSP (Headset Profile) via BLUETOOTH connection.
