yes you can i just did it Saturday stayed on all night plugged in

A speaker that is in use can be charged if it is connected to an AC outlet via the AC adaptor (supplied). In this case, it may take longer to charge the built-in battery compared to when the speaker is turned off depending on the conditions of use.
