“Can this unit be used as a music only stereo receiver with 6 speakers (3 to channel A, 3 to channel B)? My older Sony 5.1 unit will of course only allow 4 speakers and has only "A/B/both" switching. So, I need the "A/B/C/all 3" capability to use all 6.”

• Hi Richard, The STR-DH790 doesn't support channels A, B. The list below shows which speaker outputs sound when a certain sound field is selected. https://helpguide.sony.net/ha/strdh79/v1/en/contents/TP0001605062.html?search=pattern Also, here is the speaker pattern available for this unit.
