“I recently bought this Sony STR-DH790 but I'm having issues with Fire Stick 4K plug on one of the HDMI ports. There is no display . Is this receiver not compatible with Amazon Fire stick 4k? If I plug my blu-ray on any of the ports it works.”

I use a Roku stick and have had no issues. Roku remote even passes through correctly.

All HDMI jacks on the receiver support 4K resolution and HDCP 2.2. To isolate the issue, set the the HDMI Signal Format to enhanced and see if that resolves the issue.
