If you use the HDMI cable (ARC) it will. Cable HDMI to the receiver and the ARC out into your TV. Make sure your tv settings for ARC is set too.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Wake, Thank you for your question. If your TV supports HDMI-CEC function, you'll be able to wake the receiver on when you turn on your TV. The HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) is an HDMI® function that provides a high level of control functions between different audiovisual devices such as TVs, home theater systems, Blu-ray Disc® players, A/V receiver systems, and other HDMI devices. It allows you to control CEC compatible devices with one remote control, execute basic commands such as Turn On, Turn Off, audio data streaming is otherwise known as ARC (Audio Return Channel) or TV audio transfer to an A/V receiver, increase or decrease the volume level and more. This receiver supports the latest three-dimensional surround sound formats including Dolby Atmos and DTS: X, drawing you into the middle of the action you see on screen. And with 4K Ultra HD picture quality, and support for all major HDR formats including Dolby Vision t, your viewing experience will be transformed. You’re in for quite the cinematic upgrade! Hope this helps. Erin
