Hi bob74, We're sorry to hear that. Make sure that subwoofer cable is properly connected and if possible replace it with a new one. Speaker wires that are anywhere between 12 to 16 gauge are most commonly used for connecting speakers to an amplifier or an Audio/Video (A/V) receiver. Yes, you need Dolby vision compatible television to output Dolby vision content. Regards, David
