You need one high speed HDMI cable of your choice for your connection to the TV if going that way. Mine goes into the home theater receiver with the same, one high speed HDMI cable. Just look for '4K ready' on the cable description. Not sure how your soundbar is setup, if TV sound goes directly to it then you should be good with just your one HDMI cable to the TV.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That depends on how picky you are about your sound. The idea that you need a 4k HDMI cable is a myth. All HDMI cables have the speed to carry a 4k signal sufficiently unless they are extremely old, then you might have issues. The picture quality is not affected enough for the average person to notice a difference between cheap HDMI cables or high end cables, but the sound is effected. Cheaper HDMI cables will usually allow video or white noise to be heard through your speakers, even more so at higher volumes. If you like hearing details and want an undisturbed sound output, I would suggest using higher end cables. Best Buy Audio Quest cables or Monster cables are great. The lesser priced (around $99) Audio Quest cables or the equally priced Monster cables at a reputable audio/video store are also fine. But how particular you are about clean, crisp sound is the determining factor as to how much you will pay for your cables. Hope this helps.
