I own the oppo 203 and the new 4k sony bluray player as far as I can tell both units play at the same level any dvd or bluray disc. I really can't tell you how much difference there is between both playing the same disc because the both can upscale to nearly 4k.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Up scaling works very good, giving new live to BluRays already in your collection. I have yet to try any older dvd but I expect them to play very well. I use an apple extreme wireless system but have the Sony connected via wire, your epson will probably work just fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did have the Epson 5040ub projector and I did not like that picture that came out. I had a 50" 4K UDR TV that I use for my computer monitor and played the same Blu-Ray in each one, the TV picture was way superior. I decided to return the projector and have since hooked up my old HD Sharp TV for now until I get my new 80" 4K HDR TV in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have watched several films on standard Blu-Ray and they look very, very, very, very, very good! Yup. I am not disappointed at all. If I were, would say so.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not been able to get this machine to upscale to 4K at all!! I keep getting a "NO SIGNAL DETECTED" error on my LG OLED TV. I had to turn the up scaling feature completely off! Sony offers NO solutions!
