I'll say this and hope it answers your question.... I have the box and it's connected to my WiFi. I use Spectrum cable provider at 200mbps speed. I can stream 4K HDR Netflix, Prime Video, or Youtube content using this box with no lag, buffering, or stuttering of any kind. Be sure you're using the right highspeed HDMI cable and I don't think you'll have any trouble.

I advise getting latest tech HDMI Cable with 4K, 3D, Ethernet and an 18 GBps .Does not have to be expensive. under $10. This BR is better than other Sony BR players BUT understand they all need to be unplugged if they "freeze" up just like computers.
