Steaming is capable As long as your projector have a hdmi output it will be compatible ... just make sure that your using the 4K hdmi cable for the best visual quality. As far as resets I suggest that you look into your manual... normally unplugging and disconnecting cords will reset any system as long as there no systematic damage. ... hope this helps
