Under 'Precautions' : Do Not place this player in Vehicles, on Ships or other Vessels. Do Not place player outdoors. If player is exposed to cold and then warm locations and humidity found in Vehicles, boats, etc...Outdoor locations - Moisture will Condense on the Lenses and not play properly until it dries.

The question is whether the phone can maintain the data transfer at a rate high enough for streaming video. If you're in a 4G or LTE environment, I suspect it will work. If you leave urban areas and are in outlying areas with 3G, I would think you'll have data capacity issues.
