“I own a couple of European "Region B" blu-rays and DVDs. Is this truly a region free blu-ray player that can play these type of blu-rays properly? My current, older Sony Blu-ray currently can't.”

• It has played what ever I put in it but I don't purchase any DVD's unless they are all formats or will play US formats. It is an awesome player, I have two....

• I was able to play a Blu-ray from Europe (region b or 2) on this player. My old Sony Blu-ray player would not play it.
