• The original and some PDF manuals are wrong. For example, some of the manuals say use the TV IO button and Red as the default for Sony TVs, however the online help page from Sony says use the Yellow button. The Yellow button is generally correct. You really need to just try all the possible codes until you get one that gives you the functionality that works. Oh, there appears to be no way to make the BDP remote control the Sony home theater.

• Hi Louie, The input and volume buttons will only work with supported TV brands. You may check the link provided for code numbers of controllable TVs (page 15). https://docs.sony.com/release//Manual_4579663131.pdf -Jerome
